  Essay Idea #1 Jerry was a pedigree cat who always stayed close to our family during the day and would then go off gallivanting around the neighbourhood during the night. She was the community cat and was loved by all the neighbours who knew him. We never had a problem with our cat's habits until one morning. Jerry was nowhere to be found.  At first, I thought nothing of it and prepared the cat food as usual and placed it outside the door.  However, when noon came and seeing that the cat food was left untouched, I began to suspect something was amiss.  "What has happened to Jerry?" I thought to myself. Wild thoughts raced through my mind as I  immediately hopped onto my bicycle and searched his usual haunts, at the same time asking close neighbours about his whereabouts as I passed. Sadly, Jerry was nowhere to be found. In a last ditch attempt to locate Jerry, I drew up a poster of a missing cat with Jerry's picture on it and pasted it on notice boards all over...
